The Winnipeg Golden Chordsmen weekly newsletter, Notes 4 U, won FIRST PLACE in the weekly bulletins category in the Land of Lakes District in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Notes took THIRD PLACE overall in the Land of Lakes District in 2006 and 2007 bulletin contest (55 chapters) and FORTH PLACE in 2008. Notes 4 U is sent, via email, to current members, former members and other interested parties throughout North America. Regular features of Notes includes the sections: "4 Performance Improvement", "4-Ming Bonds", and "Website Of The Week"
